EDIT: Animation length doubled to allow smoother day/night change.
EDIT2: Added nice border, gave emoticon some more realistic lighting. Also changed moon's length of visibility and improved sun's circular rotation. EDIT3: Yes, AGAIN! This time I made the emoticon's lighting react to the movement of the sun. Can hardly believe no one mentioned it! There is an emoticon version without the background here: [link] The benefit of the laptop is that is helps smooth the spinning. You notice with a lot of spinning, the frames where the character has their back to you seems to speed up? That's because the eyes are usually hidden for one, sometimes two, MAYBE three frames, whereas they are both visible for several more. So the spinning looks... uneven. The laptop helped me regulate this. You can look at the emoticon and see several consecutive frames without eyes! How to Use People using avatars I made them: downloading often causes errors and is disabled. Right-click the avatar, select 'Save image As..." to save it to your computer. Then, upload from there. (Go to your profile page and click your current avatar to change it.) Also, it is preferred (but not required) that you have: Avatar by *Emotikonz (COPY/PASTE: Avatar by :devEmotikonz:) in your signiture to spread the word. Thanks! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
